Music

Glenroy Specialist School music curriculum incorporates therapeutic and education based goals including VELS & Pre-VELS indicators that comprise the following areas:

• English in music
• Maths in music

Each session involves the planned and creative use of music to address goals for students. Sessions follow a familiar structure where students have the opportunity to choose from a range of musical activities. Students are encouraged to sing, move to music, play a variety of instruments, and use adapted music software and technology to develop creativity, confidence, motivation and a sense of emotional wellbeing.
